How to install WPS Office on Linux
Kingsoft publishes .deb and .rpm. Pick the package that matches your distro. Fonts for some Office documents may need extra Chinese or Microsoft-compatible fonts. Never install a “crack” package to fix glyphs.
Step 1
Get the official package
Use WPS Office for Linux.
Step 2
Install with your package tool
Debian, Ubuntu, Mint: sudo apt install ./package.deb (or gdebi). Fedora or CentOS: rpm or dnf. Deepin users often use the Deepin store plus the official package.
Step 3
Open a test file
Launch wps, wpp, or et depending on desktop shortcuts. Open a .docx copy. If fonts look wrong, install extra fonts rather than a random “crack” package.
Fonts and missing glyphs
Some Office documents assume Microsoft fonts. Need Windows instead? Windows guide.
