How to install WPS Office on Mac

Official Mac builds cover Apple silicon (M1-M4) and Intel. macOS 10.12+ is the usual floor. Use Kingsoft’s Mac page, not a random DMG blog.

1. Step 1

   Download from wps.com

   Open WPS Office for Mac.

2. Step 2

   Open the installer

   If macOS blocks it, check System Settings, Privacy and Security, then open anyway only if the file came from wps.com. Do not override Gatekeeper for a DMG you found on a forum.

3. Step 3

   Test a Word file

   Local files work offline. Cloud and some AI tools need an account. Open a .docx copy from iCloud or Downloads. If fonts look wrong, the document assumed Microsoft fonts, not a broken install.
